In this paint and sip tea class, you will learn to draw inspiration—from nature, everyday objects, the pages of a dictionary, or from within—depending on the painting class you choose. Your host will walk you through the creative process, which is all about joy and flow—not perfection. You’ll learn watercolor techniques to help you create your own, unique painting. No painting skills are necessary. You can select one of these five activities for your group: Paint an Intention Target: Ready to get what you want from your life and your work? The first step is to paint an intention target! It’s amazing how opportunities present themselves, and wishes materialize once you set your intention. Super helpful for getting personal clarity, as well as focus and direction for corporate teams. It’s also a great chance for team members to gain insight into each other. Greater personal understanding and trust transfer to stronger and more productive teams. Painting From the Heart: In this act-before-you-think class, you’ll be expressing what’s inside of you out onto paper. The focus is more on the process of getting in touch with your intuition and your inner world and less on the outcome. Be prepared for powerful discoveries about yourself and how you can use art as a tool for deeper understanding. Painting From Nature: In this class, you’ll be painting an object or series of objects from nature. You’ll learn a variety of techniques designed to help you see, loosen up, and focus on the process of painting. Still Life Painting: In this class, you’ll be painting a still life composition. Learn techniques designed to help you see, loosen up, and focus on the process of painting. Dictionary Painting: Dictionaries are a great place to get creative inspiration. Choose a word or an illustration from the dictionary, and paint your own interpretation directly onto the page. It’s that easy and super fun! No preparation needed.
